Arrow Of Light

This is one of those "Proud" moments that every parent has at one point or another in their life. Since Jacob started Cubscouts at the age of 8, he boldly proclaimed that he would have his Arrow of Light (highest cub rank you can earn) by the time he turned 11. Jacob has worked so very hard at this accomplishment, and he was awarded his certificate of accomplishment on his 11th birthday. What a fantastic and special day for all of us. We love you and are so proud of you Jacob!!!

Jacob pinning me with the arrow of light mothers pin.

Arrow of light ceremony. For every achievement he accomplished he gets to "turn" a light on. It represents 7 things he had to do to achieve his award, and the Boy Scout Motto, "Do a good turn daily" which there is 7 days in a week. Neat huh?
